Fraudsters are calling.

We are receiving reports of scams where fraudsters are:

Stating they are from our Fraud Department and the "representatives" name is "Michael Brendon".
Requesting the last 8 digits of the members debit card.
Members have been reported receiving calls from "WEX CREDIT UNION" from a 1-800 or a 1-888 phone number.
Fraudsters are requesting to verify if the member made 4-5 transactions for "electronics" that the member then believes is pending is on their account.
So far, fraudsters are attempting to add the card to Google Pay, and Apple Pay. We expect to see Samsung Pay as part of the scam, eventually.
IF YOU RECIEVE A suspicious call - hang up! You can put a temporary hold on your debit card via the mobile app, then call us during business hours. Let's protect your account!
