How do I get started?

COVID-19 ACCOUNT OPENING NOTICE:

In response to our Pandemic Response Policy and the State of Michigan closure enforcement, our Member Service Representatives are currently processing all new membership applications remotely. Please contact us at 231-775-2081, option 4, for your next step in the account opening process. We will arrange to receive the documents from you that are needed for the account set up. We will then contact you when the account documents are ready to be signed.

PLEASE NOTE: If you come to sign before we contact you, we will ask you to come back once you have been contacted. We appreciate your understanding in this matter!

To be in compliance with the Patriot Act of 2003, please note the following important information about procedures for opening a new account or changing an existing account:

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you:  When you open or change an existing account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see and make copies of your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
