Wexford Community Credit Union is now accepting applications for the volunteer position of Director of the Board.

During your 3-year term as Board Director, your role will be to guide the stewardship of WCCU. You will ensure that the credit union’s mission is being fulfilled through every aspect of our operations. You are the voice of the membership; your understanding of the financial health of the credit union, as a whole and for individual members, allows you to guide policy and procedure to maintain the integrity of WCCU as we serve our membership.

Our Board’s Role in Guiding Wexford Community Credit Union

The Board of Directors believes that credit union Directors are placed in a position of trust and honor. They are elected to represent the best interest of our membership. Directors will gain a general knowledge of the daily operation of the credit union, and exercise due diligence in performing their duties.

The Board of Directors views its role in guiding the credit union is:

  • Providing safe and sound financial stewardship of the assets of the credit union.
  • Providing the membership with high quality financial services at competitive prices.
  • Providing opportunities for the membership to improve their economic and social condition.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

This is accomplished through planning, adopting appropriate policies, and oversight of the credit union’s management.
